VENDOR FAQ'S
What types of vendors do you typically accept?
Milan Fall Festival is primarily an arts and crafts showcase. We prioritize handcrafted items such as pottery, painting, jewelry, wood crafts, soaps, quilts, candles, artisan foods and more. We offer limited space for non-profits, political parties, direct sales (MLMs), and traditional businesses. We also reserve specific spaces for our event sponsors.
Arrival and Departure Policy:
To ensure a smooth start to the Milan Fall Festival, vendor check-in is strictly between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. To keep our walkways clear and safe for attendees, all vehicles must be removed from the festival area no later than 9:30 AM.
Because this is a high-traffic community event, we require all vendors to remain fully set up until the festival concludes at 4:00 PM. Packing up early or moving vehicles through the festival area before the official end time is strictly prohibited.
When will I know if I've been accepted as a vendor?
Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. All applicants will receive an email notification (Approval, Denial, or Wait-list) within 10 business days of the August 15, 2026 application deadline.
Note: We may close applications early if all spots are filled.
How soon do I have to pay my vendor fee?
Once approved, you will receive an invoice via RecDesk. This must be paid within 7 business days. If payment is not received, your spot will be released to the next person on the waitlist. Booth spaces are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

What is included with my booth?
Your fee covers your designated space and promotion of the festival on our social media channels. Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables, and chairs. Tents are highly-encouraged and must be free-standing. You cannot stake into the pavement; please use weights to secure your tent against wind.
Are vendor fees refundable?
The Milan Fall Festival is a rain or shine event. Once vendor fees are paid, they are non-refundable, even if you are unable to attend.
Do I need insurance or a business license to participate?
Prepared-on-site food vendors are required to have a valid business license and insurance. These documents must be provided to the event organizer when you fill out your application.
Are political or campaign booths allowed?
Yes, provided you apply and are accepted as a vendor. To maintain a positive festival atmosphere, roaming solicitation is prohibited. Campaign materials (flyers, cards, brochures) may only be distributed from within your assigned booth space.
